Hi there — I’m Rose!

A few years into my career as a school administrator, I began to notice a gap: parents were missing the kind of practical, approachable support they need to navigate the everyday challenges of family life. As I connected with more professionals, I realized the issue was even bigger than I thought. Therapists told me they often can’t support parents with day-to-day concerns due to the limits of the insurance system. Pediatricians, while helpful, can only diagnose medical conditions—not guide families through the nuances of everyday parenting.

That leaves a lot of families without support. And I don’t believe any parent should have to figure it all out alone.

I started Bud and Blossom Kids to make parenting feel less overwhelming and less isolating. I help parents feel more confident responding to challenges—both in the moment and proactively—so they can build deeper, more connected relationships with their children. From managing a grocery trip with two toddlers to navigating divorce or co-parenting, I’m here to help.

What I love most about this work is getting to walk alongside families through all of it—celebrating the highs, supporting the lows, and building relationships that last.

My Approach

A key part of my philosophy is Positive Discipline, a research-backed and Montessori accredited approach to parenting that focuses on mutual respect, encouragement, and long-term behavioral change. Instead of relying on rewards, punishments, or control, I teach parents to address the reasons behind their children’s actions, fostering empathy, cooperation, and self-regulation.

I help parents raise children who feel capable and connected, to feel that they count, and have courage to face the challenges that life presents.

If you’d like to explore this approach further, check out my blog post on Positive Discipline where I dive deeper into how this method can benefit your family.
