Playgroup Deposit

$100.00

This deposit reserves your child’s space in playgroup. This amount will be applied toward the registration fee; in the event that you do not end up registering a refund will be extended (minus a 5% processing fee).

I’ll email dates for the 8-week session when registration opens. At that point, you’ll be able to check your calendar, make sure it all fits together, and complete registration!

If you’re registering multiple children, a deposit is required for each child.

Please email rose@budandblossomkids.com with any questions.

FAQs

What's the structure of your playgroup?

I guide children through a variety of activities: process art, group games, nature-based play, and movement activities. I try to strike a balance between having a plan and being observant of the needs of the children on that given day. This is called ‘guided play’ and research demonstrates it’s how children learn best!

Who is leading these classes?

Rose—that’s me! I’m the founder of Bud and Blossom Kids and have 8+ years of experience working with young children and their families. I blend my expertise as a developmental therapist and former Montessori educator to help children learn through hands-on, nature-based play!

How many children are in the group?

Group size is capped at 12 children to keep a close-knit feel and ensure that everyone gets the personalized attention they need.

Can my child's sibling come with us?

Younger siblings are always welcome to join our playgroups. Babies who are not yet walking may attend free of charge. Once they’re on the move, they can officially join in at a special sibling rate—enjoy 10% off their registration.

What's the price for playgroups?

Registration will be $225/child for an 8-week session. If you’re registering multiple children I’m happy to extend a 10% discount for each additional sibling.

What if my child is shy?

All personalities are welcome! Playgroups are a great opportunity for more reserved children to step out of their comfort zone, try new things, and make friends. I’m mindful to encourage children to engage, without pressuring or shaming. I believe in meeting them where they are.

What happens if we miss a playgroup meeting?

Things come up—I totally understand! If you’re going to miss a playgroup session you can: 1. Offer your spot to a friend 2. Request a credit towards the next session (limit 1).

How is this different from free meet-ups?

Free meet-ups typically lack structure; kids freely play and adults chat.

My playgroup is thoughtfully designed to support each child’s development and learning. I utilize my background in early childhood education and expertise as a Montessori educator to meet each child where they are, and provide an appropriate amount of challenge.
